I have a habit of reading more than one book at a time. I don’t remember when I started it, but I usually have one nonfiction, usually self help or work oriented book at work, a tame fiction for breaks in the day, and a more spicy romance novel or a time travel/sci fi/fantasy for the evening when I want to be taken away. Maybe it’s the way I deal with stress, or the need to escape in degrees, or just an adult ADD. But I love it. People ask how I separate the books when I’m reading more than one, but I haven’t had the problem of confusing them, maybe because the books tend to be disparate in nature. And really, with so many books to read, how else am I going to reduce the stack?
Do you read more than one book at a time? Or am I just strange?
